Retro Billing Associate

The Retro Billing Associate is responsible for reviewing and processing medical bills submitted through One Call's retrospective billing program. This role ensures billing accuracy by applying federal and state regulations, fee schedules, customer-specific guidelines, and internal policies to achieve cost savings while maintaining compliance.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.

Review and process medical bills according to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Apply billing rules, fee schedules, and customer-specific requirements to ensure accurate bill processing.

Research and resolve billing discrepancies and processing errors.

Respond to billing inquiries from internal and external customers.

Communicate with healthcare providers, claim professionals, and internal departments to resolve billing-related issues.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of billing activities.

Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Required

High School Diploma or GED.
