We are seeking a Project Engineer responsible for managing and coordinating engineering projects from planning to completion, ensuring execution within approved CAPEX budgets, timelines, and quality standards. This role will support manufacturing improvements, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project execution, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, budget tracking, documentation, and project closure.

Monitor CAPEX expenses, purchase orders, and project progress, providing updates to the Engineering Coordinator.

Perform site walkthroughs to verify project progress, identify deviations, delays, safety risks, and implement corrective actions.

Design and optimize plant layouts using CAD tools to improve workflow, material flow, and operational efficiency.

Develop technical specifications for equipment, tools, PPE, and consumables; coordinate supplier quotations, evaluations, purchasing, and deliveries.

Identify project risks related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule, and develop mitigation actions.

Coordinate activities with Maintenance, Production, Quality, Safety, Procurement teams, suppliers, and contractors.

Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and SMED to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Participate in equipment installation, validation, FAT/SAT testing, documentation, and operator training.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while supporting corrective actions.

Analyze process or material issues and follow up on non-conformities with suppliers and internal teams.

Provide project supervision within the plant and support supplier or contractor visits as required.
