As the Veterinary Affairs Manager, you will develop and execute local strategies to drive the commercial growth and professional success of the Hill's Pet Nutrition business. Reporting directly to the Director, Professional Veterinary Affairs Hill's Latin America, you will lead a high-performing team focused on building strong partnerships with hospitals, veterinary schools, and industry professionals. By leveraging digital platforms and key professional events, you will elevate brand awareness, education, and veterinary referrals to position our products as the top choice in the market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend scientific expertise with strategic commercial execution to champion animal health.
Your Impact: Responsibilities

Partner with regional professional teams and local sales squads to align commercial strategies, provide deep market insights, and serve as the scientific expert in collaborative business planning.

Own and optimize the functional budget, strategically prioritizing investments that maximize veterinary referrals and drive sustainable sales volume growth.

Cultivate strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), veterinary schools, and professional associations to build brand endorsement and drive lead generation.

Design and implement professional digital engagement and educational roadmaps, utilizing data-driven dashboards to track performance and accelerate online awareness.

Provide expert scientific consultancy for marketing content, ensuring all brand communications and technical operations strictly adhere to corporate compliance and ethical standards.

Lead, coach, and deliver technical training for internal teams, fostering an inclusive performance culture and continuously elevating educational initiatives.
Skills That Make Us Smile: Required Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent professional degree in veterinary medicine.

5+ years of total professional experience within the animal health, veterinary pharmaceutical, or premium pet nutrition industries.

2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical practice or equivalent industry role.

2+ years of direct people management and team leadership experience.

Formal specialization or post-graduate studies in pet nutrition.

Established and active professional network within regional veterinary communities, academic institutions, and specialist societies.

Advanced English level.
