This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving vehicle placement targets, optimizing the B2C conversion funnel, and ensuring a seamless handoff between Sales, Underwriting (Risk), and KYC (Operations). The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales coach with experience in B2C financial services, automotive, or fintech—someone who can motivate a sales team, manage pipeline analytics, and balance aggressive growth with portfolio quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of B2C Sales Executives, conducting daily stand-ups, 1:1 coaching sessions, and role-playing exercises.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and empathetic culture focused on driver success and financial inclusion.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and develop continuous training programs on product knowledge, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Sales Strategy & Funnel Management
- Own the team’s monthly and quarterly vehicle placement quotas, ensuring consistent pipeline generation and conversion.
- Optimize the end-to-end B2C sales funnel: from lead assignment and initial contact to test drives, application submission, and final delivery.
- Develop localized sales strategies and pitches tailored to the specific needs and pain points of gig economy drivers.
- Cross-Functional Alignment (Risk & Operations)
- Partner closely with the Credit Risk / Underwriting and KYC / Operations teams to ensure a smooth, frictionless onboarding process for approved drivers.
- Act as the escalation point for complex sales cases, working with Risk to find viable solutions for borderline profiles without compromising portfolio quality.
- Ensure the sales team strictly adheres to compliance, ethical selling practices, and accurate documentation standards.
- Data, Analytics & Pipeline Reporting
- Track and analyze daily/weekly KPIs: Conversion Rates, Time-to-Close, Lead Quality, Placement Volume, and Show-up Rates.
- Build accurate sales forecasts and present performance updates, risks, and opportunities to Country Sales Leadership.
- Use CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) to identify bottlenecks in the funnel and implement data-driven interventions to improve team efficiency.
- Driver Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure every driver interaction reflects OCN’s core values, setting clear expectations and building long-term trust from day one.
- Monitor early-stage portfolio performance (e.g., first-time payment success) to ensure the sales team is bringing in high-quality, committed drivers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of direct sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead, supervisory, or coaching role.
- Proven track record in B2C sales, preferably within automotive, fintech, consumer lending, leasing, or financial services in Mexico or LATAM.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret CRM data, manage sales pipelines, and translate metrics into actionable coaching plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Excel/Sheets).
- High energy, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with the ambiguity of a scaling startup.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience working with or selling to gig economy workers (e.g., Uber, DiDi, Rappi drivers) or a deep understanding of the gig economy ecosystem.
- Basic understanding of credit scoring, underwriting policies, or KYC/AML processes.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment where processes are still being built and optimized.
- Passion for OCN's mission and a genuine desire to drive financial inclusion and economic empowerment for independent contractors.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month
