IMPORTANT NOTE
This position supports our manufacturing plants across Europe, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable working REMOTE with a Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m schedule. This enables effective collaboration with our international teams across regions.

What will you do as a Cost Analyst at Sealed Air?
You will support accurate costing and valuation of materials used across our manufacturing plants in Europe (EMEA). You will calculate and release standard costs for new, extended, and reactivated materials, prepare cost models and quotations, and perform cost analyses that support business decisions. As part of the Supply Chain Finance team in Mexico, you may also support selected activities for our North America operations.
Why do we need you?
Create and maintain standard costs for materials used across manufacturing operations.
Calculate standard costs for new materials, considering component scrap, production rates, material substitutions, and other manufacturing variables.
Calculate, extend, reactivate, mark, and release material costs across multiple manufacturing locations using SAP.
Prepare cost models and quotations to support the evaluation of existing materials and new product opportunities.
Perform standard cost comparisons and analyze cost differences to provide accurate financial information.
Work with Manufacturing, Sales, and Portfolio teams to gather information and review costing and quotation requirements.
Support annual and local costing runs, including the collection and validation of technical and financial information.
Maintain accurate costing information and support Supply Chain Finance activities across EMEA and, when required, North America.
What do you need to succeed?
Knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory, and supply chain cost drivers.
Advanced conversational English.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing accounting/ERP systems.
Ability to analyze and reconcile financial and manufacturing data.
Experience working with cost models, quotations, or product costing.
Strong data accuracy and reporting skills.
