Jefo is currently seeking a Technical Specialist – Poultry & Swine (LATAM)
Location: Home office in Brazil, Mexico or Colombia
Salary : To be discussed
Hours : 40 hours / week
Status : Permanent full-time
Summary of position:
Provide technical expertise and support to Jefo’s LATAM Poultry & Swine business, contributing to sales growth, customer satisfaction, and product innovation through research, training, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Main responsibilities of the position:
Technical Support & Customer Engagement

Support Jefo and partner Sales Teams through online meetings, trade shows, conferences, and customer visits;

Deliver technical trainings to Jefo teams, distributors and customers;

Prepare and deliver presentations for internal, commercial, and scientific audiences;

Gather field insights and market trends to support product positioning and new solution development.
Scientific Communication & Marketing Support

Develop, review, and update technical and scientific materials (publications, abstracts, technical papers, research reports, presentations, and marketing content);

Support the Marketing team in creating tools and campaigns for new product launches;

Represent Jefo at international events, trade shows, and scientific conferences.
Research & Product Development

Coordinate and conduct research projects with universities, research centers, and commercial partners;

Design protocols, analyze trial results, and present findings to customers in collaboration with Sales Teams;

Contribute to competitive product analysis and product innovation initiatives in collaboration with R&D;

Develop and implement specialized technical services and tools focused on nutrition and intestinal health solutions.
Partnerships & Networking

Maintain and strengthen relationships with universities, laboratories, research institutes, and industry leaders;

Identify and establish new scientific and technical collaborations.
General & Administrative

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;

Provide regular updates to the immediate manager on activities, achievements, and challenges;

Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required Competencies:

Ph.D. in animal health, nutrition or related field.

Bilingual (Spanish, English, spoken, written, and read);
