Objective:

Responsible for tooling capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.

Detail and Job Description o Leadership and develop of technician under his control
Drive tooling continuous improvement to ensure that tools are maintained properly and that deadlines for new tool development and fabrication are met.
Supporting all trouble shooting activities relating to tooling breakdowns identify solutions. Tooling Engineer

Experiencia y requisitos

Mechanical Engineer or equivalent degreed or related discipline.
5 Years of experience in punch press dies / tooling parts making & designs. Design and fabrication of Jigs, fixtures and cutting tools
Advanced English/Spanish written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO, Master CAM,3D PDF Drawing.
Proficient with the use of Design for Manufacturing, SPC and Six Sigma tools, process.
Knowledge and application of GD&T.
Problem solving techniques A3, RPS, RCCA.
Project management experience. Development and maintenance of tooling construction timelines and tooling validation
Identify tooling requirements for both prototypes and production processes
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
Strong work ethics and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be organized and capable to do multi tasks. Often working on multiple projects at one time.
