Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Aguascalientes.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, this role involves responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity
What a typical day looks like:

Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.

Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.

Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.

Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).

Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.

Develop and implement BOM management processes and best practices.
-
Maintain documentation and records related to BOMs.
-
Support engineering change orders (ECO) and manage BOM revisions.
-
Prepare reports and presentations on BOM status and metrics.

Identify and mitigate risks related to BOM management.
-
Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
-
Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.

Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor' degree in Engineering Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, or equivalent.

Junior experience in the related field is required for this position.

Proficiency in BOM management software
