Our SAP Transition & Transformation team leads complex SAP initiatives across implementations, rollouts, migrations, service transitions, and process improvement programs. The team partners with SAP functional, technical, BASIS, infrastructure, business, and client stakeholders to ensure project strategies are aligned with business objectives and SAP delivery methodologies. Through strong governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level reporting, the team helps deliver successful SAP transformation outcomes across global and complex environments.
About the Role
Essential Job Functions:
As a SAP Transition & Transformation Senior Program Manager, you will lead and oversee end-to-end SAP initiatives, including transition activities such as service handover, knowledge transfer, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare, as well as transformation programs such as implementations, migrations, rollouts, and process improvements. You will be responsible for project delivery across scope, timeline, budget, risks, quality, governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment. This role requires strong leadership, SAP project management expertise, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams in global environments.
- Lead end-to-end SAP projects, including implementations, rollouts, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Manage transition activities such as knowledge transfer, service handover, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare support.
- Own project delivery across scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP functional, technical, ABAP, BASIS, infrastructure, business, and client stakeholders.
- Define and execute project strategies aligned with SAP methodologies such as SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Ensure successful execution of project phases, including planning, design, build, testing, SIT/UAT, go-live, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and timely decision-making.
- Drive governance, reporting, executive-level updates, post-go-live stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP projects, with at least 5+ years in project or program management roles.
- Proven experience leading SAP implementations, rollouts, or migration projects across ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and modules, such as FI, SD, MM, PP, or related areas.
- Experience managing Transition & Transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong project management expertise across scope, time, cost, risk, issue, and quality management.
- Experience with SAP methodologies, including SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced English level required for communication with global teams and clients.
Other Qualifications:
- SAP certification in any module or project management-related certification is preferred.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Experience in AMS environments or service transition processes is a plus.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar is preferred.
- Experience in global delivery models and multicultural teams is a plus.
