We are looking for a Lead Web Analyst with deep expertise in Google Analytics and tagging to join our global team.
In this role, you will lead analytics strategy and execution across the organization, setting the direction for how teams leverage data, tagging, and reporting. You will act as the top subject matter authority, mentoring others, driving cross-functional initiatives, and shaping best practices at scale. Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate autonomously in a truly global environment are essential to success.
Responsibilities

Act as the principal subject matter authority on Google Analytics and tagging, setting direction and best practices across global teams

Define the strategy for auditing Google Analytics properties, identifying root causes of unidentified/not set traffic, and driving long-term improvements

Architect and oversee the implementation of solutions to improve data accuracy, championing standardization and governance across all properties

Lead the management and optimization of tagging implementations using Google Tag Manager, establishing scalable frameworks and templates

Partner with senior stakeholders across cross-functional and global teams to align analytics practices with broader business objectives

Proactively deliver strategic recommendations and solutions, influencing decision-making without requiring direction from stakeholders

Own event routing and CRM tool integrations as part of a broader analytics stack, ensuring seamless end-to-end data flows

Drive the continuous evolution of the analytics workflow, expanding scope well beyond GA and shaping the roadmap as the backlog matures

Establish and enforce consistent data governance, quality, and reporting standards across all digital properties

Mentor and guide other analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and elevating the analytics maturity of the organization
Requirements

5+ years of experience in a web analytics or similar data-focused role, including 1+ years of experience leading initiatives or teams

Advanced expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, with proven experience designing enterprise-level implementations

Strong proficiency in JavaScript

Solid working knowledge of SQL

Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and event routing tools

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align global, cross-functional teams

Demonstrated ability to act as the top subject matter authority, own strategic decisions, and drive solutioning fully independently

Experience mentoring or leading other analysts and shaping analytics best practices

Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
