The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to improve established processes. The candidate will play a critical role in creating and refining processes to improve the current process yields mainly with the reduction of scrap making sure to respect and improve the conditions of productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Administration of process, design of lay-outs, capacity studies, run & rate
- Performs Value Stream Mapping activities, process and material Flow.
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
- Drive and lead continuous improvement strategy using Lean Manufacturing tools
- Implementation of engineering changes, lean manufacturing projects and problem solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
- Analyze the root causes of possible problems by area and product.
- Understand, analyze, and promote costs to reduce with the implementation of improvements.
- Detailed analysis of how to improve efficiency and productivity in the plant in all areas
- Prepare short- and medium-term action plans at management levels.
- Leadership to ensure implementation of established projects in floor.
- Identify and neutralize potential rework areas to improve the productivity and reduce waste.
- Able to empower a team of people to achieve agreed upon outcomes.
- Administrate 6S program
- Lead time reduction plans, implementation and administration

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, project management, production, process
- Black Belt certification (must)
- At least 2-5 years of engineering experience as Continuous improvements (ascertainable)
- Data analysis in Excell and Power BI (must)
- Advance English
- Teamwork and Leadership to drive strong projects
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management skills: Ability to lead multiple projects in a cross-functional environment while delivering significant results.
- TPM implementation (desirable)
Experience:
- Management of Lean Manufacturing

- Software (AutoCAD/Nanocad)
- Knowledge of AS9100, OSHA & Core Tools
- Proven experience implementing improvement projects (must)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
