We are hiring a Commodity Intern to join our team in Monterrey.
What you can expect as a Commodity buyer Intern:
- Provide support in sourcing processes, including supplier registration, quotation management, and contract documentation.
- Assist in the execution of corporate purchasing initiatives, with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support rate management activities and maintain accurate pricing records.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding within internal systems.
- Support the introduction and alignment of new suppliers with ZF standards and requirements.
- Initiate RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes and provide support in addressing supplier inquiries.
- Assist the team with daily operational and administrative purchasing activities.
Your profile as a commodity buyer intern
Enrolled in the last year of universitiy of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration and External Commerce
University insurance or medical insurance
Advanced English proficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft office
