We are building a Lead Automation Tester in JS role to drive automation quality for customer-facing web apps and APIs in an Agile product team. Responsibilities

Design and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs

Improve and support existing automation frameworks and test utilities
-
Build automated test coverage for new features and regression scenarios
-
Run functional and regression testing as part of the release process
-
Analyze test failures and defects, and partner with developers to determine root causes

Review requirements and contribute to test planning and test case design
-
Enable integrations between automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools
-
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional team members

Share automation knowledge and best practices within the team
Requirements
-
Proven track record with 5+ years of test automation for web applications

Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and test automation design patterns
-
Solid background with Node.js and modern automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO or Selenium
-
Practical expertise in API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools
-
Deep understanding of software testing principles, test design, and defect management
-
Working knowledge of Git-based source control systems

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
-
Familiarity with test management tools such as qTest or TestRail
-
Exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms such as LambdaTest
-
Demonstrated experience testing authentication and authorization APIs

Experience working in Agile teams

Strong communication and collaboration skills

English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
Nice to have

Experience integrating automation frameworks with test management tools

Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS SQS or similar technologies

Experience testing or automating real-time applications using WebSockets

Skills in Bash scripting

Experience with SAP-based web applications, mobile automation, or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
