Nexos TRC is looking for a Supply Chain Director for a World Class Manufacturing Company located in Torreón, Coahuila.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for driving the strategic and operational performance of a complex manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading key supply chain functions, ensuring alignment between customer demand, operational capabilities, inventory strategies, and business objectives.
The successful candidate will provide leadership across planning, logistics, inventory management, and operational excellence initiatives while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead critical supply chain functions including demand planning, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and trade compliance activities.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, operational performance, and customer service objectives.
- Enhance planning, inventory, logistics, and warehouse processes to improve service levels, operational efficiency, and cost performance.
- Drive integrated planning processes to balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and supplier capabilities.
- Lead inventory optimization initiatives, including working capital improvement and inventory health management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive accountability and continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
- Support digitalization and effective utilization of ERP systems to improve visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making.
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies to streamline processes and strengthen operational execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable trade, customs, and logistics regulations.
- Provide leadership in capacity planning, supply-demand balancing, and strategic operational initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and other functional areas to improve material flow and overall business performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through leadership, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within Supply Chain, at least 5 years as Director or in Sr. Management Positions.
- Experience leading multifunctional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- English proficiency in a Global Business Environment
- Preferred experience in Project Management, Supply Chain Analytics, CTPAT
