We are seeking an Inbound Replenishment Planner I to support our Supply Chain organization by ensuring the timely and cost-effective flow of purchased materials into our operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory availability, supporting customer demand, and driving supply chain efficiency through proactive planning and supplier collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process replenishment proposals and purchasing recommendations in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and system-generated planning recommendations to ensure product availability.
- Analyze inventory and demand data to determine appropriate actions, including releasing, expediting, canceling, or deferring orders.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate supply chain exceptions such as shortages, delayed deliveries, lead-time discrepancies, and inventory imbalances.
- Expedite orders when necessary to support customer requirements and operational needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely confirmation of purchase orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Communicate supply updates and delivery changes to Customer Service teams to maintain accurate customer commitments.
- Review item status changes and recommend modifications to open purchase orders to optimize inventory levels.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives, including strategic inventory repositioning and lead-time improvement activities.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding supply issues, stock levels, and replenishment challenges.
- Assist with the resolution of issues involving rejected materials, purchase orders, receiving discrepancies, and accounts payable inquiries.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, service levels, and supply chain performance.
What You Bring:
Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills (written and verbal) is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Experience in supply planning, inventory management, procurement, replenishment planning, or a related supply chain within the Mexico market.
- Experience working with ERP, MRP, WMS, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
