Description:
We are seeking a strong technical Engineer with the ability to manage and execute industrial projects.
This role requires a hands-on engineering professional with solid technical expertise who can also structure, coordinate, and drive capital projects effectively.
Position Objective
To execute and manage engineering and CAPEX projects at the Toluca plant, ensuring proper technical specification, installation, commissioning, and optimization of equipment and infrastructure.
This position combines advanced technical analysis with structured project execution to deliver investment, efficiency, sustainability, and operational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute capital projects from technical definition through field implementation.
- Support the development and execution of the 3-year strategic capital investment plan.
- Define technical specifications for process equipment, packaging machinery, and control systems.
- Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of industrial equipment.
- Provide technical and financial analysis to support capital justification.
- Lead cost reduction, reliability, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Develop technical layouts, electrical diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Coordinate technical vendors and specialized contractors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SMED).
Required Technical Profile (Mandatory)
- Strong background in power electrical systems and industrial control.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Solid knowledge of industrial mechanics.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and control diagrams.
- Experience selecting, installing, upgrading, and modifying industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preventive maintenance, and reliability systems.
- Desirable experience in plant utilities (steam generation, HVAC, power transmission, water systems).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience executing technical projects in plant operations.
- Experience in machinery design or production efficiency improvement.
- MBA or Project Management certification (preferred, not mandatory).
- English: C1 Conversational Level – Required

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per hour
