A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Offer & Purchase Order Coordinator Trainee, your day will center on keeping our RFQ and purchase order processes running smoothly. You'll review and prioritize incoming requests in the RFQ inbox, coordinate purchase orders from receipt through handover and tracking, and make sure every PO aligns correctly with its corresponding project. You'll also monitor key performance metrics and work closely with cross-functional teams — including our Operations counterparts in the USA — to keep everything moving efficiently and identify ways to make our processes even better.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Manage the RFQ (Request for Quotation) inbox, ensuring proper review, prioritization, and assignment of incoming requests.
- Coordinate the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, from receipt to handover and tracking.
- Ensure accurate alignment between purchase orders and their corresponding projects.
- Monitor and maintain key performance metrics, including RFQ volume, response times, and backlog.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of operational tasks.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Electrical Engineering is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems; experience with Salesforce, SAP, or Power BI is a plus.
- Advanced English, as you'll support our Operations team in the USA.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, proactiveness, curiosity, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
- Prior participation in extracurricular activities, academic projects, or internships related to operations, procurement, or administrative areas is a differential.
About the Team
You'll join our Operations team, supporting the coordination between purchasing, project management, and our U.S.-based counterparts to keep the RFQ-to-PO cycle accurate and efficient.Who is Siemens Energy?
