GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Review, in accordance with current labor, tax, social security, and other applicable laws, as well as internal policies and procedures, the correct and timely application of labor, tax, and social security obligations. Provide attentive and courteous service to the company's human capital to prevent improper or extraordinary payments related to tax or labor matters, thereby ensuring the business's continued success in the market within a safe and supportive environment for employees.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
1. Gather the necessary documentation, prepare hiring documents, and conduct company orientation sessions for new employees.
2. Accurately and promptly enter employee vacations, flextime, new hires, terminations, and salary changes into the employee database, Excel files, Fusion system, or any other system to facilitate better decision-making.
3. Ensure that employee onboarding and offboarding, reimbursement processes, transfer letters, renewals, etc., related to insurance policies are processed correctly and promptly, in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.
4. Prepare and send incident reports to the payroll processing provider, and verify that both these incidents and the payroll tax calculations are applied correctly and promptly, in strict compliance with current labor, tax, and social security legislation, as well as internal policies and procedures to prevent improper or extraordinary payments.
5. Review, in accordance with applicable legislation, the calculation of tax and social security obligations prepared by the payroll processing provider to ensure timely and accurate payment and/or information submission, thus avoiding extraordinary payments due to discrepancies and labor disputes.
6. Provide accurate and timely information to the Accounting and Treasury departments, as well as to external auditors and Corporate, to ensure compliance with the company's labor, tax, and social security obligations.
7. Manage employee benefits provided on payroll: flexible benefit reimbursement, check-ups, bereavement assistance, etc.
8. Review, process, and accurately and promptly track payments to Benefits and Compensation providers to ensure service delivery.
9. Prepare monthly and annual reports for INEGI (National Institute of Statistics and Geography).
10. Prepare employment certificates and any other documentation for employees.
11. Ensure the physical file is kept up-to-date, and coordinate and supervise the provider to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the digitization process.
12. Collaborate on Philanthropy, Reforestation, and employee benefit programs.
