Your Role – Shaping Tomorrow's Digital Security:
As an Information Security Contact (ISC), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT/OT security within your assigned organizational unit at Siemens. You will be the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related matters in the IT and OT domains, significantly contributing to the protection of our sensitive data and critical infrastructures. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to our stringent security policies and foster a robust security culture.
Your Responsibilities:
- Primary Contact for IT/OT Cybersecurity: Serve as the central contact person for all IT/OT-related cybersecurity topics within your area of responsibility, proactively responding to inquiries and consulting needs.
- Support for Basic Cybersecurity Hygiene:
o Manage exception handling processes and assist with security incidents.
o Contribute to local vulnerability management, including report handover, tracing, and tracking of remediation efforts.
- Asset Management Support (aligned with internal processes):
o Support internal Asset & Configuration Processes, ensuring the preparation of all relevant prerequisites (e.g., registration in IT repositories).
o Identify relevant stakeholders and ensure sufficient process awareness regarding asset management.
- Support for IT/OT Security Initiatives: Actively participate in IT/OT cybersecurity initiatives, programs, and ad-hoc measures (e.g., penetration testing, Zero Trust implementations).
- Awareness Training and Site Inspections:
o Conduct dedicated awareness trainings to enhance employee security consciousness.
o Perform annual site inspections
- Support for Assessments and Audits: Assist in the execution and remediation of findings from IT/OT assessments and audits, in close collaboration with the central cybersecurity team.
- Consultation and Oversight: Maintain knowledge of and oversee all relevant IT repositories and proactively advise employees within your area of responsibility.
Your Qualifications:
o Solid understanding of IT and/or OT security, ideally with relevant professional experience.
o Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and processes within a large enterprise environment.
o Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and provide effective guidance to employees.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with various internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Unit Cybersecurity Officers, Information Security Professionals, local IT Partners, Asset Owners).
o Structured and proactive working style with a high degree of responsibility.
o Familiarity with security frameworks, standards e.g. ISO27001 and asset management systems is an advantage.
o Fluent in written and spoken English
