We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and support various committees to ensure smooth business functions. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management using tools like QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software
- Provide logistical support for multiple specialized committees and projects
- Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and facilitate effective communication across departments
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for internal use
- Oversee the logistics of large in-person annual membership meetings
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong clerical and administrative skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and vendor management systems
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—along with professional phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of human resources procedures including training & development practices
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and responsibly
- Experience with budgeting processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
