Production Scheduler
Automotive company located in Sauz, Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro is looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team.
This position is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise in production planning and scheduling, but also with excellent communication skills, customer-facing confidence, and a proactive personality.
Position Purpose
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the production schedule based on customer demand, ensuring on-time delivery through efficient use of production resources, SAP systems, and cross-functional coordination.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules according to customer requirements and production capacity.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, and Sales departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, raw material availability, and production priorities.
- Follow up on customer requirements and communicate effectively regarding production status and delivery commitments.
- Support plant start-up activities and production ramp-up processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and lean manufacturing standards.
- Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical studies.
- Training in Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling, assembly line programming, or materials planning within the automotive industry.
- Strong background in:
- Materials planning
- Inventory control
- Production scheduling
- MRP systems and SAP
- Experience coordinating multiple departments in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in plant start-up or launch activities is highly preferred.
- Advanced English is mandatory (interview will be conducted in English).
