Job Overview:
Special Touch Home Care is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and professional Remote Office Assistant who is fluent in both English and Mandarin to support our New York-based home care agency.
This position requires excellent communication skills in both languages, strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the ability to remain productive in a fast-paced remote work environment. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, reliable, quick learners, and interested in long-term employment.
This is not a passive or low-responsibility work-from-home role. Candidates must be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming calls from patients, caregivers, clients, and staff professionally and efficiently
- Perform administrative tasks including reporting, documentation, scheduling support, email follow-ups, and data organization
- Coordinate daily office operations with the New York-based management team
- Maintain clear, professional communication in both English and Mandarin
- Assist with translation and interpretation when necessary
- Handle urgent or time-sensitive matters with professionalism and accuracy
- Follow company procedures carefully and maintain attention to detail in all tasks
- Remain responsive, organized, and productive throughout scheduled shifts
Qualifications:
Required:
- Advanced English and Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
- Excellent multitasking, comprehension, and organizational skills
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn office systems quickly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet work environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to retain and apply training information effectively
- Dependable attendance and consistent responsiveness
Preferred, Not Required:
- Previous customer service, healthcare coordination, call center, interpretation, translation, or remote administrative experience
- Experience working in healthcare, home care, medical offices, or patient services
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time permanent position
- 35–40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (CST)
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
