Will lead the regional Business Continuity Management (BCM) agenda, ensuring the organization is prepared to anticipate, respond to, and recover from business disruptions while safeguarding business operations, employees, customers, and strategic objectives. This role is responsible for driving BCM governance, standards, risk assessment processes, crisis preparedness, and continuity planning across LATAM. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with country leadership teams, functional leaders, and global stakeholders to strengthen organizational resilience and ensure alignment with corporate policies and best practices. Given the regional and global nature of the role, the individual must be capable of influencing across cultures, managing multiple priorities, and operating effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
Education • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Organizational Development, or related field. • Master's Degree preferred. Experience • 7+ years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, Operational Excellence, Organizational Effectiveness, Supply Chain, or related disciplines. • Proven experience managing regional or multi-country programs. • Experience working in complex matrix organizations. • Strong track record of stakeholder management at senior leadership level. • Experience within logistics, supply chain, operations, or highly operational environments is preferred. Language Requirements Mandatory • Fluent English (written and verbal). • Fluent Spanish (written and verbal). • Fluent Portuguese (written and verbal). The role requires frequent interaction with stakeholders across LATAM and Global teams. The ability to conduct meetings, presentations, training sessions, and executive communications in all three languages is highly preferred.
Regional BCM Leadership • Lead the Business Continuity Management framework across LATAM. • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of BCM standards, policies, and governance. • Ensure regional alignment with global BCM requirements and organizational objectives. • Monitor BCM maturity across countries and define improvement roadmaps. Risk & Resilience Management • Facilitate Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and risk assessments across the region. • Identify operational vulnerabilities and partner with business leaders to develop mitigation strategies. • Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen organizational resilience. Business Continuity Planning • Oversee the development, maintenance, testing, and effectiveness of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). • Ensure countries maintain robust recovery and contingency plans for critical business operations. • Track progress against remediation actions and continuity objectives. Crisis Preparedness & Response • Coordinate regional crisis preparedness exercises and simulations. • Support crisis response efforts during significant business disruptions. • Lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement actions. Stakeholder & Change Management • Build strong partnerships with Country Management Teams, Operations, HR, IT, Security, Quality, Risk and Compliance functions. • Act as the primary regional point of contact for BCM-related initiatives. • Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority to drive accountability and execution. • Collaborate with Global BCM teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
