Position Summary
The AI Server Repair & Test Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and validating advanced AI server platforms throughout the manufacturing process.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring world-class product quality by identifying hardware failures, performing repairs, executing functional tests, and validating complete server systems before shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assembly of enterprise AI server platforms.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Repair server hardware and replace Field Replaceable Units (FRUs).
- Execute failure isolation to identify defective components.
- Perform functional testing and system validation.
- Support Burn-In testing activities.
- Utilize hardware diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Access and utilize BMC interfaces for hardware diagnostics.
- Perform basic Linux command line operations.
- Support rack integration and final system configuration.
- Verify complete server functionality before shipment.
- Read and follow manufacturing documentation, technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Maintain repair and test records.
- Follow ESD procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test teams.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree.
- Experience repairing Enterprise Server Hardware or Computer Hardware.
- Experience assembling computer or server systems.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Experience replacing Field Replaceable Units (FRUs).
- Failure isolation experience.
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools.
- Basic Linux command line knowledge.
- Experience accessing BMC interfaces.
- Ability to read manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
- Basic Ethernet networking knowledge.
- Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 MXN per month.
