The Material Planner is responsible for translating production plans into mid- to long-term Material Requirements Plans (MRP), ensuring the availability of materials aligned with forecasted demand. This role plays a key part in optimizing inventory levels, supporting supply continuity, and driving improvements across material planning processes.
- Convert production plans into accurate mid- and long-term Material Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure material availability.

Maintain and optimize MRP parameters, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and production requirements.

Monitor and resolve MRP exceptions, coordinating closely with production planning teams.

Consolidate cross-category material needs to support efficient planning and procurement.

Collaborate with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), balancing supply availability, capacity, and cost.

Analyze inventory levels, reviewing policies and identifying slow-moving and obsolete materials.

Manage and optimize manufacturing parameters to improve planning efficiency.

Ensure timely and accurate material ordering, optimizing order quantities while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

Identify and escalate material supply risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.

Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning and supply chain performance.

Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive data-based decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience in material planning, supply chain management, or related roles.

Hands-on experience working with SAP (required).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).

Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (nice to have).

Solid understanding of MRP processes, inventory management, and supply planning.
