Legal Manager - Your future role?
Reporting to the Regional Legal Manager, you will provide proactive, high-quality legal support to Givaudan's operations in Mexico and ANCAM (Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Peru) and to Procurement teams across Latin America, ensuring full compliance with local laws while maintaining alignment with global legal and corporate standards. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and a link between legal and procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory Provide strategic legal advice to Givaudan's teams in Mexico and ANCAM; support procurement operations across Latin America to ensure risk mitigation and contractual compliance.

Contracts & Negotiation Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (including raw materials, indirect materials and services, confidentiality and consultancy contracts).

Litigation & Claims Manage all litigation and pre-litigation matters in Mexico and ANCAM, coordinate with external counsel as required, and oversee dispute resolution strategies in Latin America as needed.

Compliance & Governance Advise on regulatory matters, corporate governance issues, and ethics policies in line with Givaudan's global standards.

Procurement Support Serve as the regional focal point for procurement-related legal matters across Latin America; collaborate with regional procurement teams to develop templates, and ensure policy adherence.

Stakeholder Collaboration Partner closely with global legal teams, procurement, EHS, HR, finance, and other business units to deliver efficient legal support that enables business agility and consistency across operations.

External Counsel Management Identify and engage external attorneys where necessary for specialized matters; manage budgets and ensure effectiveness and quality of external legal services.
Qualifications

Law degree (LL.B or equivalent).

Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, ideally within a multinational company.

Deep knowledge of Mexican law with emphasis on environmental, REPSE, risk management, litigation and liability matters, as well as familiarity with Latin American jurisdictions.

Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, dispute resolution, and cross-border transactions.

Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an asset.
