Location:
Vertiv is looking for a results-driven Commodity Manager to own $50M–$100M in annual Capex & facilities spend , driving strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and measurable cost savings across manufacturing sites in the Americas.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end Capex procurement : strategy, RFx, negotiation, and contracting
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned to cost, timeline, and business goals
- Leverage analytics, market intelligence, and cost modeling to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Build and manage supplier relationships for performance, continuity, and competitive pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects on time and on budget
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management
- Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar ($10M+) Capex or indirect spend categories
- Proven ability to deliver measurable results (cost savings, cost avoidance, cash flow impact)
- Skilled in strategic sourcing, RFx, supplier negotiations, and spend analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing/industrial procurement experience
- Procurement of production equipment or capital projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
