About the job:
Fortify is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will act as the primary point of contact for our students, guiding borrowers through the process of applying for loans and empowering them with the financial knowledge they need. You'll also work with our partner schools to help them monitor students in the application pipeline.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Availability from 9am-5pm CST Monday-Friday
- Customer service (emails, texts, calls) for students who inquire about Fortify's services or are applying for loans
- Monitoring Intercom for customer service requests
- Caring about students and helping them level up in their careers
- Developing & maintaining helpful FAQs/resources for our borrowers
What we're looking for:
If the following describes you, this role would be a great fit:
- Outstanding written, grammar, and spoken English
- Professional fluency in Spanish
- An interest in speaking to people on the phone, and having warm, friendly, interpersonal skills
- An interest in growing yourself professionally, by learning more about financial technologies, financial literacy, and loan administration.
Nice to haves
- Past experience with a ticketing software (Zendesk/Freshdesk/Intercom) is not required, but is a plus
- Past experience in customer service, especially financial services, is not required, but is a plus

Pay: $10,500.00 - $17,500.00 per month
