The role in one line
You are the technical bridge between the customer and Spectra-Strip — you understand what the customer needs, translate it into technical requirements for our teams, and make sure the product performs in the field.}
What you'll do:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, assisting with product installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Translate customer needs, specifications and expectations into actionable technical requirements for engineering and manufacturing.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, collaborating with internal engineering and support teams.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers on product capabilities and best practices.
Review and control materials, procedures and mechanical or electrical systems to ensure customers receive high-quality, functional products.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, test procedures and troubleshooting workflows.
Gather customer feedback and insights to drive product improvements and enhancements.
Manage and coordinate technical projects through successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a technical role such as application engineering, technical support, test engineering or similar.
Strong technical proficiency in relevant technologies and products (electronics, interconnect, cabling or precision manufacturing).
Advanced English — daily interaction with U.S.-based customers and teams.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Customer-focused mindset, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Nice to have:
Experience with cable, harnesses, connectors or high-speed assemblies.
Signal integrity knowledge (TDR, VNA, eye diagram, attenuation, crosstalk).
Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 or equivalent standards.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or EMS environment.
Valid U.S. visa.
