Qualifications (Required):
- 100% Bilingual:
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students, parents, and staff in both languages.
- Completed university degree + teaching credential/license
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid teaching credential or license in the relevant subject area and grade level.
- Inquiry-based, challenge-based, project-based, or IB experience
- 2+ year working with students as a Homeroom teacher
- Proven track record of effectively managing a homeroom class. Experience in developing and delivering lesson plans that meet diverse student needs. Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- 1 year working with students as a Team Teacher
- Collaborative teaching experience, working alongside other teachers to plan and execute lessons. Skills in co-teaching, sharing responsibilities, and contributing to team goals. Experience in participating in professional learning communities.
