We are seeking a Platform Engineer (Sales Cloud) to support Salesforce feature and platform delivery within a client-facing transformation environment focused on Sales Cloud / Service Cloud and adjacent solution capabilities. This role suits an engineer with a solid Salesforce foundation who is ready to work in a fungible team model spanning development, configuration, administrative responsibilities, integration support and cross-functional collaboration. The expectation is active participation, proactive clarification and growing ownership rather than reliance on fully pre-structured tasks.
Responsibilities
-
Contribute to delivery of features and scoped outcomes with growing independence
-
Ask questions, clarify ambiguity early and make a real effort to understand business intent before escalation
-
Break down own work into manageable technical tasks instead of waiting for others to fully prescribe each step
-
Work across declarative and programmatic Salesforce changes depending on delivery needs
-
Support administrative and platform responsibilities where needed, including flows, permissions, configuration and deployment-related tasks
-
Use AI-assisted and spec-driven ways of working as part of day-to-day execution
-
Stay open to adjacent technologies and broader cross-functional team responsibilities rather than operating only within a narrow Salesforce-only boundary
-
Communicate progress, blockers and risks proactively
Requirements
-
2+ years of solid hands-on Salesforce experience, especially in Sales Cloud / Service Cloud
-
Proficiency in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow with standard platform customization patterns
-
Skills in Salesforce Development and Salesforce Admin Tools
-
Capability to work from partially defined feature scope with guidance, rather than requiring every task to be pre-broken down
-
Understanding of Git-based delivery, deployments and testing expectations alongside disciplined engineering practices
-
Flexibility to work in a broader engineering context that may include adjacent integrations, administrative responsibilities or supporting technologies
-
Readiness to use AI-assisted engineering tools productively and responsibly
-
Strong learning agility, ownership and proactive communication
-
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
-
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
-
Knowledge of Copado, GitHub, GitHub Actions and DevOps
