What impact you’ll make?
You will be responsible for managing customers’ orders in the system, maintaining accurate schedule of production demands for the plant as well as supporting long range planning process. Act as a primary contact of customers with any kind of issues and maintain an effective communication link between customers and the factory.
Responsible for short-term demand changes management activities within the plant. Managing plan changes to maintain level loaded, feasible production plan based on internal & external capacity of resources, with minimizing inventory effect align customer demand.
What you’ll do
- Input customer forecasts & orders into Oracle ERP and create demand schedule to drive production
- Ensure receipt of customer Purchase Orders within timely manner
- Ensure weekly reconciliation of Open POs with the customers, eliminate risks of surprises
- Provide primary point of contact for customers regarding change requests or fulfillment issues
- Support product transfer or new product introduction with initiating QWFs and manage communication
- Provide transportation requests to Logistics dep. on time, support shipment process with accurate data
- Fulfill customer demand of spare and small materials.
- Coordinate short term planning activities of production in alignment with COE Leaders & business strategies & customer priorities
- Strong cooperation with site planners & fulfilment sourcing team.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- College degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in customer service is an advantage, experience in a multinational company is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Confident communication level of spoken and written English.
- Capabilities to effectively communicate both horizontally and vertically with customers and within GE organizations
- Solid communication skills, self-motivated, ability to establish and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
