As a Sr Manager, Sales you will build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market in Mexico share by focusing high value activity and selling. In this role you will manage a large sales area for Align Technology with multiple ASMs, territories and Territory Managers selling Align Products. And also be responsible for managing the Align business within their defined geography, with their primary objective being to achieve Operational Plan, through Sales strategy’s implementation in line with company growth plans and country strategic objectives through the ongoing development of their team.
Achievement of quarterly and annual area sales targets/Operational Plans, making sure that all sales strategies are implemented across all region.- Management, direction, and motivation of Area Sales Managers and their teams, including: development of sales plans, targets, and strategies and the removal of obstacles to success, driving quality in execution with focus.
- Evaluation and coaching of Sales Managers– through observation during co-travel, frequent feedback and the analysis of data, evaluating levels of customer, product and systems knowledge via in-field assessment.
- Provide appropriate training and field coaching as required.
- Ensure that ASMs and their teams manage accounts in their assigned territory on a quarterly basis, with specific action plans depending on customer type and segmentation.
- Maintain a personal level of product knowledge and competence in Dental and/or Orthodontia medical equipment.
- Maintain a high personal level of wider industry and business knowledge, with cultivation of customer relationships and KOLs’ management.
- Prepare and present a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals, participating in strategic and tactical meetings, with both executive and execution drive views and insights.
- Adherence to agreed team KPIs and compliance, including but not limited to Practice Events, Educational Recruitment, Call Rate and Business Planning, able to establish both market and target customer strategies for the Company.
- Map, define and implement best business practices across the region assigned, working on the definition of a broader SFE scope and design.
- Responsible for sales targets quota definition for the team, accountable for the results and opportunities to achieve targets.
Preferable bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.- Required Spanish skills and English language are desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience essential, with at least 2-3 of those years managing a sales team.
- Experience within Medical device or Healthcare sales is desirable.
- Proven track record of on-target achievement as both a sales person and sales manager.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others.
- Advanced presentation and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in product launch, area sales planning and forecasting.
- Experience in budget management.
- P&L process knowledge.
