The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11pm - Monday-Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled. .
Position Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
Wire moderately complex control circuits.
Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and centerlining.
Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.
Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.
Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix).
Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

Total Rewards:
Pay starting at $37.48 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $39.50 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements:
2-years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
Experience with electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred
Fabrication experience preferred
Self-motivated team player with the ability and willingness to make decisions, effectively communicate, problem solve and teach others.
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist.
Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.

Propósito:
Desarrollar, validar e implementar bebidas conforme a lo establecido por las necesidades del negocio
tomando en cuenta las tendencias de consumidor, así como las capacidades técnicas de la compañía.
Actividades:
- Desarrollo de nuevas formulaciones conforme al plan de lanzamientos de innovación establecido por
las necesidades del negocio siguiendo las directrices del Gerente asociado
- Evaluación de materiales alternos dentro de los productos fabricados por la compañía asegurando el
cumplimiento con las especificaciones establecidas
- Preparación de prototipos para las diversas evaluaciones de los productos desarrollados
- Investigar y dar soporte en los reportes por fallas de calidad de las formulaciones provenientes de las
plantas
- Documentar debidamente formulaciones y ajustes realizados a nivel laboratorio para su implementación
en planta
- Apoyar al Gerente asociado en la generación de protocolos e implementación de productos en planta
- Validación de especificaciones de las formulaciones desarrolladas por el equipo de R&D para su
cumplimiento en planta
- Evaluar sensorialmente los productos desarrollados por el área para contribuir al objetivo deseado

Requisitos:
Escolaridad: Ing. en Alimentos o similar
Experiencia: Minimo 2 años en R&D de preferencia en el sector de bebidas
Idiomas: inglés intermedio
Conocimientos: Desarrollo de bebidas, manejo de equipos de laboratorio, evaluación sensorial, bases de regulación
Habilidades: Trabajo en equipo, trabajo bajo presión, rápido aprendizaje, buenas comunicación con el equipo y superiores, seguimiento, organización, transparencia y honestidad.
