In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex industrial and commercial projects while working alongside engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams. The Structural Designer interprets design intent and translates it into completed working drawings while applying established design principles and discipline standards.

Responsibilities
-
Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of a project engineer/architect or department manager.
Develop and prepare structural design drawings, models, and construction documents.
Translate design concepts and engineering direction into completed working drawings and project deliverables.
Utilize Revit to develop complex structural models, ensuring high levels of accuracy, data integrity, and cross-discipline coordination within the BIM environment.
Compile project data, perform quantity take-offs, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates.
Perform routine design calculations and prepare layouts for review by the responsible engineer.
Develop project details, evaluate design alternatives, and support project execution.

Stay current with Revit updates, BIM workflows, and emerging design technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the department.
Apply discipline-specific design standards, codes, and best practices.
Coordinate work with other engineering and design disciplines to ensure project consistency and quality.
Support the review and processing of shop drawings and vendor submittals.
Assist with material and equipment research and provide technical information to support project specifications.
Participate in continuing education and training to maintain knowledge of current technologies, software, and industry trends.

Provide guidance and coordination for drafting efforts within the discipline.

What You Will Bring:
-
Bachelor´s degree in Civil engineering or Architecture (or equivalent).
-
Three to Five (3 - 5) direct years of experience in same activities / responsabilities.
-
Experience with previous large-industrial projects such as Manufacturing plkants, Automotive plants, semiconductors, Data centers, mixed-use buildings, etc.

Prior experience as Structural designer / BIM Modeler / BIM Designer

Prior experience with AutoCAD and Revit (both are mandatory)

Advanced English (Will report to US office)

Desirable Skills:
-
Experience with structural work on mid- to large-size projects.

Familiarity with BIM workflows and multi-discipline model coordination.

Working knowledge of Revit for coordination and markup.
