POSITION OBJETIVE
Oversee Planning operations and procedures, definition and implementation of a tactical plan according the department strategy to ensure a steady supply of materials according to our inventory policies. Able to analyze the patterns and behavior changes in our supply to propose flexible solutions allowing us to adjust our strategy accordingly. Responsible to meet our financial and ODC. Maintains strong relationships internally and externally, provide an environment for development and grow to the planners YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the compliance of the team to the activities according the standard work.
- Analysis and understanding of the results of our planning dashboards, contingency plan, long term solution.
- Ensure timely, accurate and pertinent escalation of risk in the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain close and constant communication with key support areas.
- Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including in the overview of other sites impacts.
- Design, develop, and implement flexible solutions to aid business efficiency.
- Support and understand production challenges, implement action plans to secure manufacturing ops.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Internally).
- Work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Purchasing team in a hand to hand effort to fulfill production requirements.
- Identify the variables of the current environment in the supply chain and the direct impacts to our ODC budget.
- Notify possible risks and opportunities.
- Under ODC: Obsolescence, Special Freight. Are objects of responsibility
- Follow BRP values and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
- Enforce Quality BRP policy.
- Follow up office vibe results though action plan.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor: International Business, Business Administration or similar
- Professional Experience: 5 years in Material Planning Process or Logistics (Similar roles)
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- SAP Knowledge (Or similar - MRP, APO, EDI)
- Right at first time (Downtime & Bos)
- Shipping Compliance & Past Due
- MD06
- Obsolescence & Overstock
- Premium Freights
- Schedule attainment
