Job Description
Provide specialized on-site technical support for the installation, commissioning, diagnosis, maintenance, and optimization of sealing, lubrication, and filtration systems, ensuring the operational reliability of customer equipment, compliance with safety standards, and value generation through effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
-
Perform installation, commissioning, and alignment of mechanical seals and auxiliary systems.

Diagnose failures in rotating equipment and sealing systems.

Respond to operational emergencies and unplanned shutdowns.

Conduct technical inspections on-site and at Service Centers.
Failure Analysis
-
Prepare technical reports and root cause analyses (RCA).
-
Identify causes of recurring failures and propose solutions.
-
Document technical findings and lessons learned.
Maintenance and Reliability
-
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
-
Validate installation conditions (alignment, tolerances, vibration).
-
Monitor sealing system performance.
-
Propose improvements to increase equipment service life (MTBF).
Technical Customer Support
-
Provide guidance on seal selection and application.
-
Train customer personnel and internal teams on best practices.
-
Support equipment startups and critical projects.
Compliance and Safety
-
Ensure compliance with standards (API 682, ISO, and internal standards).
-
Apply industrial safety procedures.
-
Conduct risk assessments prior to each intervention.
Qualifications
-
Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
-
5+ years of experience.
-
Experience in industrial maintenance or field service within process plants.
-
Previous work with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, or agitators).
-
Participation in the installation, inspection, or maintenance of mechanical components (ideally mechanical seals or similar equipment).

Basic knowledge of failure diagnosis and operational troubleshooting.

Exposure to industrial environments (chemical, petrochemical, mining, food processing, etc.).

Experience interacting with customers or end users on-site.
-
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Knowledge

Mechanical seal systems (single, dual, cartridge, and component seals).

API plans (API 682) and auxiliary systems.

Rotating equipment: pumps, compressors, and agitators.

Failure analysis methodologies (RCA, RCM).

Interpretation of mechanical drawings and tolerances.

Sealing materials and chemical compatibility.
-
Basic instrumentation (pressure, temperature, vibration).

Industrial safety standards.
