Operations Coordinator – IT Service Delivery

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless service delivery, optimizing operational performance, and supporting both internal teams and customers to achieve service excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead Operations Without Direct Authority
- Coordinate and guide internal teams, external vendors, and service partners to achieve operational goals.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of operational resources.
- Act as a key operational reference point for support teams and stakeholders.
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Build trusted relationships with customers and service partners.
- Drive initiatives that increase customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Manage customer escalations and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Ensure service delivery aligns with contractual commitments, SLAs, operational processes, and quality standards.
- Monitor incidents, requests, asset management, ticket quality, and reporting accuracy.
- Coordinate resource planning, shift schedules, vacation coverage, and operational readiness.
- Identify service risks and proactively implement mitigation actions.
Champion Continuous Improvement
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement process enhancements and operational best practices.
- Monitor partner and supplier performance and support service optimization initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Experience in IT Service Delivery, Service Desk, End User Support, Field Services, or Managed Services environments.
- Strong background coordinating operational teams, suppliers, or third-party service providers.
- Experience managing incidents, requests, escalations, and customer-facing operations.
- Knowledge of SLA management, ticketing systems, operational reporting, and service governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation certification or strong understanding of IT Service Management principles.
- Experience working within enterprise or outsourced service environments.
- Experience in workforce planning, operational coordination, and continuous improvement programs.
