BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Excellence Staff to support our client's manufacturing organization by leading strategic Operational Excellence initiatives. This role will serve as a key driver of continuous improvement, partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve production line performance, reduce scrap, balance manufacturing lines, and increase operational efficiency through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Operational Excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for production line balancing, capacity optimization, and workflow improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce scrap, improve yield, and eliminate manufacturing waste.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to improve manufacturing performance.
- Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and scalable production systems.
- Utilize Industrial Engineering principles to improve labor utilization, production flow, takt time, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as DMAIC, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
- Collect and analyze manufacturing data, KPIs, and process performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Coach and mentor teams on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic improvement opportunities and ensure project execution aligns with business objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, savings, and results to management and key stakeholders.
- Support the deployment and sustainability of Business Excellence programs throughout the organization.
MAIN qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years leading Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, and Design Excellence principles.
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing manufacturing metrics and driving measurable operational improvements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
