Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering degree.
- 6 months to 1 year as a product, process, or manufacturing trainee or engineer.
- English 50%
Knowledge:
- Excel software (med - high level).
- Review, read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models
- SolidWorks software (medium level).
- Understanding of fabrication processes or product engineering.
- Create Bill of Materials.
- Knowledge of MECHC commodities is a plus.
Activities:
- Lead the estimation process and costing for all assigned RFQs.
- Review new programs to understand customer requirements, negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, and participate in internal meetings to align quote strategies.
- Interpret customer technical documentation and evaluate manufacturing capabilities to make informed "make vs. buy" decisions.
- Calculate manufacturing times and costs for new projects.
- Generate the summaries and reports necessary for Management review and quote approvals.
