The Regional Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor will lead EHS compliance and improvement efforts across multiple Mexico manufacturing locations. The position is responsible for the implementation of processes and systems to reduce risk of work-related injuries, illnesses, and environmental aspects.
This position involves the leadership of site EHS resources, requiring skills in team building as well as employee coaching and development.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or related field.
+7 years of progressive EHS experience.
Strong knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Mexico.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management system experience.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

YOUR ROLE
EHS Leadership & Strategy
Lead the implementation and execution of EHS programs across multiple locations within Mexico.
Partner with operational leaders to integrate EHS processes into work routines
Promote positive safety cultures by deploying processes that enable leadership engagement, employee participation, and accountability.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding EHS performance, risks, and opportunities.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations in Mexico.
Maintain knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements, including Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) and labor regulations.
Enable site ISO 14001 and 45001 conformance – build knowledge and capability, ensure robust frameworks, and support audit preparation efforts.
Risk Management
Conduct site audits, inspections, and assessments to identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop corrective action plans and monitor completion and effectiveness.
Facilitate serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention processes.
Drive ergonomic assessments and risk mitigation.
Incident Management
Govern investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, property damage events, and environmental incidents.
Analyze trends and metrics to reduce incident frequency and severity.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents and regulatory notifications.
Drive adherence to IMSS case management protocols
Training & Development
Develop and execute development plans for EHS team
Ensure compliance with required certifications and competency requirements.
Coach operational leaders on their EHS responsibilities and leadership expectations.
Performance Monitoring
Track, analyze, and report key EHS metrics and performance indicators.
Develop regional EHS scorecards and dashboards.
Support corporate sustainability objectives.
