Job Summary
Provides customer service and administrative support for personal insurance clients while maintaining accurate policy records, preparing insurance quotes, and assisting clients throughout the entire policy lifecycle. Supports daily insurance operations by managing client communications, processing applications, coordinating renewals, and ensuring a professional and efficient customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares accurate personal insurance quotes based on client needs and company guidelines.
- Follows up with prospective and existing clients through phone calls, email, text messages, and other communication channels to provide timely assistance and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Completes insurance applications accurately while ensuring all required documentation is collected.
- Verifies customer information, including coverage details and other policy-related information.
- Guides clients throughout the insurance process, from initial inquiries to policy issuance and ongoing service.
- Assists clients with policy servicing requests, including payment method updates, billing inquiries, policy changes, and other account maintenance requests.
- Provides proactive support during policy renewal periods by contacting clients, reviewing coverage needs, and ensuring policies remain active.
- Maintains detailed, accurate, and organized notes regarding customer interactions, policy updates, and follow-up activities within the CRM system.
- Responds professionally to customer questions and concerns while delivering exceptional service across all communication channels.
- Collaborates with insurance agents and internal team members to ensure timely processing of customer requests.
- Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail when handling sensitive customer information.
- Participates in ongoing training, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- One year of experience in Customer Service, Call Center, Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
- Previous experience handling customer payments, billing inquiries, or account servicing is preferred.
- Experience working with CRM systems or insurance management software is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
