Due to our exponential growth in our Shared Services Center, we are looking for our next talented: Accounts Payable Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Role Purpose:
An Accounts Payable Specialist should be able to audit and process invoices with high attention to detail as well as research in various systems and have a high level of personal accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A person in this position performs the following functions:
- Communicate internally with different departments and externally with carriers to get problems resolved in a timely manner.
- Research carrier questions efficiently to verify we are compliant with carrier payment terms and maintain a positive attitude while doing so.
- Follow process SOPs to complete job functions
- Review and enter invoices
- Stay on task and prioritize effectively when distractions are presented
- Update carrier and vendor information to maintain accuracy
- Research carrier aging reports frequently to verify we are in compliance with carrier terms
- Maintain a positive and proactive approach and effort in performing assigned tasks.
- Consistently show ability to hit performance targets and find operational efficiencies.
- Responds to customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communications and actions are in line with the COACHTeam core values.
Knowledge, skills, experience & education:
- Ability to work in 2+ systems on a daily basis
- Ability to research and analyze discrepancies
- Previous accounts payable experience
- Intermediate at Excel; knows basic formulas including but not limited to sorting, summing, VLOOKUP’s, and pivot tables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while remaining professional
- Demonstrated verbal, reading, and written skills.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Demonstrated commitment in team performance, ensuring personal reliability and integrity.
- Adherence to company dress code and code of conduct.
