The Stellantis Customer Experience Organization is seeking a highly motivated Lead Warranty & Reliability Specialist to join the Quality team at the Stellantis Toluca Parts Distribution Center in Toluca, Mexico.
The Lead Warranty & Reliability Specialist is responsible for leading a team of Warranty Specialists, Technicians, and Logistics personnel while overseeing the daily operations of the Mexico Quality Engineering Center (QEC). This role plays a critical part in achieving Stellantis Corporate Quality objectives through the analysis of warranty-returned material, identification of emerging field issues, and implementation of corrective actions to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will lead efforts to identify failure modes and effects through warranty data and returned material analysis, manage part return retention parameters, and support Warranty Recovery initiatives. This position requires a strong leader capable of developing standardized quality processes, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and collaborating across multiple business functions to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily activities of Warranty Specialists, Technicians, and Logistics personnel supporting Mexico QEC operations.
- Oversee all part return material activities to ensure returned components are effectively utilized to support Corporate Quality initiatives and Warranty Recovery efforts.
- Analyze warranty-returned material and field data to identify emerging quality concerns, failure modes, and reliability trends.
- Monitor and drive corrective action implementation for identified quality issues.
- Audit and validate commodity analyses performed by Warranty Specialists to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
- Manage part retention strategies and return parameters to optimize analysis effectiveness and business needs.
- Utilize corporate data systems and reporting tools to identify quality concerns and monitor corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and standardize quality processes, metrics, and performance indicators.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic technical and business environment.
- Represent the Voice of the Customer in discussions with engineering, manufacturing, Suppliers, and platform teams.
- Build strong partnerships across internal and external organizations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Support meetings and presentations with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field. Equivalent combinations of technical and business education will be considered (e.g., Business Administration with a minor in Automotive Technology or Engineering Technology).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive quality, service, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership, or people management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with corporate data systems and quality reporting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodology.
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with data analytics platforms such as Quantic and/or Palantir.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Passport for international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Parts Return Analysis System Plus (PRAS+).
- Experience utilizing Global Issue Management (GIMs) and S2irius systems.
- Working knowledge of Stellantis quality, warranty, and data management systems.
- Knowledge of warranty recovery processes and part return operations.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, quality, or engineering environment.
