To sustain our rapid growth in Europe we are recruiting an experienced and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager – Latin America, based in Mexico.
Mission :
Reporting directly to the Area Director, Southern Europe & LATAM ,you will be responsible for driving the development of Gérard Bertrand across the entire Latin American region.
Working closely with our network of importers, distributors and key customers, you will define and execute ambitious commercial strategies to accelerate sustainable growth while strengthening the premium positioning of our brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the commercial strategy across Latin America;
- Managing and expanding our distributor network while identifying new business opportunities;
- Building strong partnerships with importers, key accounts and premium on-trade customers;
- Accelerating the distribution and visibility of Gérard Bertrand's portfolio across all channels;
- Developing dedicated strategies for our Prestige & Fine Wines portfolio;
- Supporting the launch of new products, innovations and private label projects;
- Negotiating annual business plans and promotional activities with distributors;
- Identifying new regional and international key accounts;
- Organising tastings, training sessions, consumer events and brand activations;
- Coordinating public relations, marketing and communication initiatives with headquarters;
- Hosting customers and trade partners at our estates in the South of France;
- Representing Gérard Bertrand at major trade fairs, exhibitions and professional events throughout the region;
- Working closely with Marketing, Communication, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure excellent execution;
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and business opportunities;
- Preparing regular sales forecasts, business reviews and performance reports;
- Travelling extensively throughout the region to support distributors and accelerate business development.
Success in this position will be measured by your ability to strengthen our partnerships, grow both value and volume, expand our premium distribution and establish Gérard Bertrand as one of the leading premium French wine brands throughout Latin America.
Existing network of wine importers and premium retailers across Latin America;- Experience with Fine Wines and luxury brands;
- Knowledge of French wines and wine culture;
- French language skills;
- Degree in Business, International Commerce, Marketing or Hospitality;
- WSET or equivalent wine education;
- Passion for gastronomy, wine and the French art de vivre;
- Positive attitude, resilience and strong team spirit.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the candidate’s ability to accelerate business development, build sustainable distribution partnerships and establish Gérard Bertrand as a leading premium wine brand across Latin America.
