Commercial Roofing Appointment Setter / Outbound Sales Representative
We are looking for a Commercial Roofing Appointment Setter / Outbound Sales Representative to support outbound sales efforts by calling commercial property owners, qualifying leads, and scheduling free roof inspections.
This role is focused on high-volume outbound calling, appointment setting, lead qualification, objection handling, and CRM updates. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, persistent, organized, and comfortable speaking with property owners or commercial decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to commercial property owners using a provided lead list.
- Introduce the free roof inspection service and explain its value clearly.
- Qualify prospects based on roofing needs, property type, storm damage, inspection interest, and appointment availability.
- Handle objections professionally and persistently.
- Schedule qualified roof inspection appointments.
- Update CRM records with call outcomes, notes, follow-ups, and appointment details.
- Maintain a strong daily call volume and consistent outreach cadence.
- Follow up with prospects who request more information or are not ready to schedule.
- Communicate appointment updates, lead quality, and recurring objections to the team.
Requirements:
- Experience with outbound calling, cold calling, appointment setting, SDR, BDR, inside sales, or telemarketing.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Ability to speak with property owners, business owners, or decision-makers.
- Ability to follow scripts while sounding natural and conversational.
- Strong objection handling, persistence, and resilience.
- Experience using CRM systems or updating lead/contact records.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-up discipline.
- Coachable, accountable, and comfortable working toward sales KPIs.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in roofing, construction, insurance, real estate, storm damage, home services, or commercial appointment setting.
- Experience using dialers, phone systems, Google Sheets, Excel, or scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with roofing inspections, storm damage, hail damage, insurance claims, or contractor services.
- Experience explaining service value and overcoming objections by phone.
