BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Branding & Communications Manager (Maternity Leave) is responsible for leading and executing the branding, communications, and experiential strategy across Latin America during a fixed-term maternity leave.
The position oversees regional branding initiatives, major retail openings, and high-profile events, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, agencies, and senior stakeholders. The role acts as the main point of contact for brand and communication matters in Latin America, guaranteeing high standards of execution, alignment with global guidelines, and operational excellence during this period.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and executing major regional projects, including the opening of the news Kohler Signature Stores in the region.
- Develop, edit, and manage content for internal communications, presentations, newsletters, media materials, and digital assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across multiple markets by supporting visual identity implementation, messaging alignment, and asset distribution.
- Coordinate with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to support timelines, deliverables, production, and quality assurance.
- Assist in the organization and tracking of budgets, purchase orders, contracts, and project documentation.
- Maintain updated project dashboards, calendars, and communication trackers to ensure alignment during simultaneous initiatives.
- Provide essential operational and administrative support to guarantee workflow continuity during maternity leave and periods of peak activity.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
Supervisory Relationships:
1. Reports to the Director of Marketing Communications, Latin America
Organizational Relationships:
1. Continuous collaboration with Latin America Marketing leadership, brand, PR, digital, and retail teams.
2. Frequent interaction with global marketing and branding teams.
3. Regular engagement with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams, including senior leadership across the Americas.
External Business Relationships:
1. Frequent contact agencies and vendors
2. Customers in Latam including Distributors and Architects and Designers across Latin America.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Design, or a related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in branding, communications, marketing, or related roles, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
- Proven experience leading brand initiatives, events, retail openings, and cross-market communications.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders, agencies, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with DAM systems, project management tools, and design platforms is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-responsibility role.
- Availability for a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
