QA Automation Engineer – Insurance Domain (Offshore)
About the Role
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation frameworks and insurance domain workflows. The role is offshore-based, with flexible overlap hours for collaboration with onshore teams. You will report to the Offshore QA/Test Lead and align closely with Onshore Product Owners, contributing to test strategy, automation coverage, and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, TestNG, or Cypress.
- Perform API testing, database validation, and performance testing.
- Validate workflows in commercial insurance systems (Property, Casualty, Liability).
- Contribute to test strategy, automation coverage, and reporting of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of testing cycles.
- Support testing efforts in legacy modernization and cloud-native insurance platforms.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, TestNG, Cypress).
- Strong knowledge of API testing, database validation, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with commercial insurance systems and workflows.
- Exposure to Gen AI / LLMs.
- Excellent communication skills in English (business fluent).
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB Advanced Certification.
- GenAI Certifications.
- Experience in insurance platform modernization (legacy to cloud-native).
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (IFRS, GAAP).

Sueldo: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 al mes
