The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, customer-facing product development and manufacturing launch programs. This role owns end-to-end project performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
The Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional, matrixed teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Commercial functions, ensuring alignment with customer commitments and business objectives. This role serves as a key interface with executive leadership, plant teams, suppliers, and customers.

Lead multiple complex, cross-functional projects or programs from kickoff through launch and closure

Own project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and overall delivery performance

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and key project artifacts (RAID logs, action plans, status reports)

Drive execution of critical milestones including design freeze, tooling, builds, PPAP, and launch readiness

Manage scope changes through formal change control, ensuring impacts are assessed and aligned

Lead cross-functional teams, establish accountability, and drive execution in a matrixed environment

Coordinate resources across engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners

Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and cost performance

Identify and mitigate risks proactively; escalate issues with clear recommendations and impact analysis

Provide clear, concise project updates to leadership and support executive-level reviews

Represent projects in customer discussions and leadership forums

Ensure adherence to CMT launch processes, quality standards, and PMO governance

Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and standardization of best practices

Coach and support less experienced project managers and team members

Consistent delivery of projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and customer requirements

Strong control of schedules, milestones, and critical path activities

Proactive risk management with minimal surprises to leadership or customers

High confidence and alignment from stakeholders, including customers and executive leadership

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

10+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects in manufacturing, engineering, or product development environments

5+ years of experience managing customer-facing programs with cost, schedule, and quality accountability

Demonstrated experience managing complex launches, multiple projects, or program-level initiatives

Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Advanced project planning and scheduling experience (Microsoft Project or similar tools)

Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

Strong communication skills with experience presenting to leadership and customers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and collaboration tools

MBA or advanced degree

Experience with PLM, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making tools
Full-time, Monday through Friday. Extended hours may be required during critical project phases.
This role operates in a manufacturing office and shop floor environment. Travel requirement: up to 20%.
