We are looking for an experienced, highly organized person to take full responsibility for marketing and renting our portfolio of furnished apartments and other rental units in the Los Angeles area.
This is a full-time, long-term remote position. The selected person will manage the entire rental process across Airbnb, VRBO, Furnished Finder, Zillow, MLS, Guesty, and other appropriate platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and optimize property listings
- Keep photographs, descriptions, pricing, availability, and policies accurate
- Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries and booking requests
- Manage reservations, calendars, cancellations, extensions, and lease renewals
- Prevent double bookings and maintain accurate information across all platforms
- Adjust pricing and minimum-stay requirements to improve occupancy and revenue
- Follow up with prospective tenants and convert inquiries into bookings
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, cleaning, maintenance, and unit readiness with our team
- Communicate with guests and tenants before, during, and after their stay
- Track vacancies and create a plan for renting every available unit
- Prepare regular reports showing occupancy, upcoming vacancies, leads, bookings, and rental income
- Coordinate MLS listings with our licensed real-estate representative when required
- Become thoroughly familiar with every property and take ownership of the portfolio’s rental performance
Qualifications:
- Strong experience managing short-term, mid-term, or furnished rentals
- Experience with Airbnb and at least some of the following: VRBO, Furnished Finder, Zillow, MLS, or Guesty
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong sales, customer-service, and follow-up skills
- Highly organized and able to manage many properties and reservations simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and solving problems
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace
- Able to work primarily during Los Angeles business hours and respond promptly to urgent matters
- Experience with Guesty or another property-management system is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Los Angeles rental regulations is a plus
This is not simply a data-entry or guest-messaging position. We need someone proactive who will take ownership of vacancies, follow up consistently, recommend improvements, and work toward maximizing occupancy and rental income.
